David Mann

Director of the Scottish Maritime Museum

David Mann has been the Director and a trustee of Scottish Maritime Museum for nine years after working as the Operations Manager for a decade. From a commercial background he worked for a large leisure company before returning to Scotland to work on an interesting but ultimately unsuccessful Millennium attraction.

Chair of Industrial Museums Scotland and involved in several other boards including the Skylark Trust which is working with people with addiction to restore a little Dunkirk ship. Passionate about using the Museum to give young people from all backgrounds the chance to work, learn and succeed.
